1917 Awarded the Military Medal Solomon was awarded the Military Medal for 'exceptionally good work as a Company runner ' during the attack on Zonnebeke Ridge on the 26th Sept. 1917. 'Australians on the Western Front 1914-1918 ' describes the battle.
