1917 Awarded the Military Medal
Solomon was awarded the Military Medal for 'exceptionally good work as a Company runner ' during the attack on Zonnebeke Ridge on the 26th Sept. 1917.


1918 Died: 18th May
Solomon died serving in the 51st. Australian Infantry Battalion in World War 1.
He is buried at Crouy Military Cemetery
