Feldman - " I am pretty sure that the location was Ramsgate
in 1947/8 and that the rather elegant Regency terrace house they are in
was originally owned or leased by Rose's parents.I remember staying there
and can still recall the smell of the newly painted front entrance of
the house.
I think the house must have been sold shortly
after the film because Rose and Harry took a short lease on a lovely
house in Broadstairs around the same time."
